Exotic Sunset in Uluwatu

Bali is a heaven for traveler whether for a budget backpacker or super rich first class tourist. There are a lot of things to do in Bali from spa to getting married, from swimming to hiking. One place that I highly recommend you to visit is Uluwatu. With so beautiful scenery of sunset I guarantee you will fall in love in this place.

At Uluwatu, there are a Balinese temple reside above a very high cliff facing the sea. Short pant is forbidden in this sacred area, instead you need to wear a traditional sarong. You will receive a sarong at the ticket box, but remember to return it when exit. You can find many wild monkeys everywhere around the temple so you have to be careful with your belonging.

You can find an open theater for a traditional Kecak dance show every sunset. Everybody who comes to Uluwatu must watch the Kecak dance. This could be one of a kind sunset experience in your life. The dance will be performed by more than 30 dancers wearing a traditional chess pattern sarong. They will sing a rhythmic pattern and the main dancer will dance along that rhythm. Don't worry; you don't have to pay much, only like $5 for the whole show. It is not expensive for a sunset experience booster

For the wild monkeys, there are rule for some accessories that you should not wear around Uluwatu temple, which are glasses, bandana or necklace. You should beware of the monkey. They steal all of those accessories from you to trade it for a food. If you are in a good lucky day, the monkey will give your accessories back for foods, but sometimes they won't give you back.

After sunset, you can head back to your hotel, or if I can recommend, you should have a dinner at Jimbaran. You can find many front beach restaurants serving all your favorite seafood from snapper fish to huge lobster. Seafood and sunset will be the perfect couple to end the day.
